MDC Lab-এর জন্য research direction বাছুন
Edge systems এবং healthcare digital twins—দুটোই broad; একটি primary systems question বাছাই করুন।
- Private edge cloud project-এর workload placement, network adaptation, resilience বা resource orchestration থেকে একটি problem নিন।
- Healthcare direction হলে NephroTwin/colorectal twin-এ data ingestion, privacy, fault tolerance বা edge inference focus করুন।
- নিজের software/backend/IoT evidence proposal-এর method-এর সঙ্গে map করুন।

2027 availability confirm করুন
Fall 2026 advertisement stale হতে পারে; written confirmation ছাড়া opening active ধরে নেবেন না।
- Email subject-এ Prospective Fall 2027 PhD এবং chosen topic লিখুন।
- CV, motivation letter ও research proposal attach করুন—position notice-এর requested package অনুসরণ করে।

Tests ও SIU application complete করুন
Lab shortlist-এর পর university PhD eligibility ও deadline independently পূরণ করতে হবে।
- Relevant master's এবং minimum 3.25 GPA evidence official transcript-এ verify করুন।
- GRE এবং TOEFL/IELTS score valid ও official delivery-ready রাখুন; SIU general English baseline TOEFL iBT 80 বা IELTS 6.5।
- SOP, publications, work experience ও three strong recommendations দিয়ে scholarly potential দেখান।

Funding package audit করুন
Department assistantship baseline ও specific MDC offer একই নাও হতে পারে।
- RA versus TA, appointment percentage, annual stipend এবং number of funded years লিখিতভাবে নিন।
- Tuition waiver-এর বাইরে fees, health insurance ও summer months cover হয় কি না জিজ্ঞাসা করুন।
