Full-funded institutional scholarship নেই। Latest guide-এ up to 2 international MEcon student-এর জন্য two-year tuition-only Economics Society Scholarship ছিল; full/half tuition exemption ও JASSO-ও competitive এবং 2027 guide-এ recheck করতে হবে।

প্রথমে যে বিষয়গুলো বুঝবেন
Official program অনুযায়ী MEcon-এর classwork, thesis supervision ও master's thesis English-এ করা যায়; Japanese-language study encouraged হলেও compulsory নয়।
Degree হলো Master of Economics; standard duration 2 years এবং coursework October/Fall semester থেকে শুরু হয়।
Program-এর দুইটি main component: Japanese and Asian Economy and Society এবং Japanese and Asian Management।
Relevant subjects-এর মধ্যে economics, public policy, development economics, econometrics, international trade, global business, comparative management, human resources, supply chain management ও international marketing আছে।
এই path আপনার জন্য ভালো কি?
Recognized bachelor's degree, 16-year formal education বা current guide-এর accepted equivalent graduate-entry qualification আছে।
English-medium degree-এর official MOI letter অথবা accepted standardized English evidence সংগ্রহ করতে পারবেন।
Economics/business bachelor's না হলেও software বা IT experience-কে supply-chain digitization, international business, digital platforms, productivity, emerging-market technology adoption বা public-policy problem-এর সঙ্গে যুক্ত করতে পারবেন।
দুই বছরে শেষ করা যায় এমন narrow, researchable ও evidence-based thesis question তৈরি করতে প্রস্তুত।
Undergraduate thesis, major term paper বা অন্য formal academic paper writing sample হিসেবে দিতে পারবেন।
দুইজন academic recommender detailed evaluation দিতে পারবেন, এবং scholarship না পেলেও tuition ও living cost-এর credible backup plan আছে।

MEcon admissions page bookmark করে September–October 2026-এ October 2027 guideline প্রকাশের weekly reminder দিন।
Bachelor's/Master's English-medium হলে degree-awarding university থেকে official MOI letter এখনই চান; না হলে valid IELTS/TOEFL plan রাখুন।
Software/IT background থেকে একটি narrow business/economics research question লিখুন এবং Jin Shi ও Motoi Ihara-এর current research-এর সঙ্গে evidence-based fit compare করুন।
Transcript, degree certificate, writing sample, দুই academic referee, residence documents এবং financial-support evidence-এর tracker এখনই তৈরি করুন।
Submit করার আগে documents প্রস্তুত রাখুন
Submit করার পরে
1Email, spam folder এবং courier tracking নিয়মিত monitor করুন; missing-item request এলে original submission copy দেখে দ্রুত উত্তর দিন।
2Document-review result-এর অপেক্ষাতেও research plan, writing sample ও faculty fit rehearse চালিয়ে যান।
3Interview invitation এলে designated response deadline miss করবেন না এবং Zoom equipment test করুন।
4Offer পেলে admission fee, 2027 tuition, exemption timing, scholarship application এবং enrolment deadline official letter থেকে আবার মিলিয়ে নিন।
5Written scholarship/waiver decision না পাওয়া পর্যন্ত enrolment decision no-aid budget দিয়ে evaluate করুন।

MEcon October-entry program confirmed, কিন্তু 2027 application এখনও open নয়। Prior-cycle dates দিয়ে preparation করা যায়, submission নয়।
- Official MEcon news page ও Graduate School admissions page weekly monitor করুন।
- 2027 PDF প্রকাশ হলে eligibility assessment, application opening, documents-arrival deadline, interview month, result এবং enrolment-payment deadline calendar-এ তুলুন।
- 2026 reference লিখে রাখুন: nonstandard eligibility assessment 1–19 December 2025; application 1 December 2025–2 February 2026; March interview; May-এর মধ্যে result। প্রতিটি date-এ ‘reference only’ label দিন।

Degree ও English eligibility প্রমাণ করুন
Recognized degree এবং acceptable English proof দুটি আলাদা eligibility item। No published minimum score admission guarantee নয়।
- Bachelor's degree, transcript এবং মোট formal-education length দিয়ে standard eligibility category identify করুন। 15-year বা nonstandard qualification হলে advance eligibility assessment লাগতে পারে।
- Bangladesh বা অন্য non-listed country-এর English-medium degree হলে university registrar/controller থেকে signed, sealed বা otherwise verifiable official letter নিন, যেখানে স্পষ্ট থাকবে English was the language of instruction।
- MOI letter অস্পষ্ট হলে admissions office-কে scan পাঠিয়ে written acceptance জিজ্ঞাসা করুন; শুধু transcript-এ English course title থাকা MOI-এর সমান নয়।

একটি narrow ও feasible research direction বানান
Latest guide fixed 1,000–1,500-word requirement confirm করে না। নতুন form-এর limit follow করতে হবে; content-এর মূল test হলো topic specific, tangible এবং দুই বছরে complete করা সম্ভব কি না।
- Broad topic যেমন ‘AI in business’ বাদ দিয়ে one setting, one problem, one population/industry এবং measurable outcome নির্ধারণ করুন।
- Research-plan structure রাখুন: title, previous study, problem/context, research question, related evidence, proposed data, method, feasibility, limitations এবং expected contribution।
- Software background থেকে possible bridge হিসেবে SME supply-chain digitization, IT-system adoption in cross-border value chains, digital retail internationalisation, platform strategy বা technology-enabled emerging-market channel development compare করুন।
- Research question-এর সঙ্গে parallelভাবে 2–3 সপ্তাহ04
Faculty fit evidence তৈরি করুন
MEcon-এর জন্য advance professor consent mandatory নয় এবং faculty profile funded vacancy নয়। Specific topic-এর জন্য current supervision availability verify করাই লক্ষ্য।
- Professor Jin Shi-এর official profile ও recent work পড়ুন: supply chain management, international business, multinational enterprises in emerging markets এবং retail internationalisation তাঁর confirmed areas।
- Software/IT bridge চাইলে ‘digital transformation + supply chain/value-chain systems’ আপনার proposed research framing হিসেবে লিখুন; এটিকে professor-এর advertised vacancy বা exact stated project বলে দাবি করবেন না।
- Professor Motoi Ihara-এর international business, global marketing, Asian marketing strategy, emerging-market channel development ও related current work compare করুন।

Application documents ও recommendations প্রস্তুত করুন
Latest cycle mixed digital-and-postal process ব্যবহার করেছে। Forms ও writing sample email-এ গেলেও official certificates, recommendations ও other evidence post করতে হতো। 2027 guide final authority।
- Latest reference অনুযায়ী Application Forms 1–3 Excel format-এ complete করার practice করুন; PDF-এ convert করে পাঠানো allowed ছিল না।
- Writing sample হিসেবে undergraduate thesis, major term paper বা অন্য formal paper-এর clean PDF প্রস্তুত করুন এবং নিজের contribution স্পষ্ট রাখুন।
- সব undergraduate institution-এর official transcript, grading-scale explanation এবং graduation/degree-conferment certificate সংগ্রহ করুন।

Submission ও payment error-proof করুন
Latest cycle-এ সব materials deadline-এর মধ্যে physically received হওয়া জরুরি ছিল; শুধু email পাঠানো বা courier dispatch করা complete application ছিল না।
- 2027 guide থেকে email items, postal items এবং application-fee proof আলাদা checklist-এ map করুন।
- Forms 1–3 ও writing sample current instruction অনুযায়ী mecon@gr.saitama-u.ac.jp-এ পাঠানোর আগে filename, passport name এবং attachment format check করুন।
- Official/certified materials registered express mail বা trackable courier-এ এমন সময় পাঠান যেন deadline-এর আগে পৌঁছে যায়।

Document screening ও Zoom interview-এর জন্য প্রস্তুত হন
Document review principal selection method এবং interview শুধু shortlisted applicant-এর জন্য। Traditional written Economics/Math entrance exam latest MEcon route-এ ছিল না।
- Research plan-এর problem, importance, method, data access, expected result ও limitation—প্রতিটির 30–60-second English answer তৈরি করুন।
- Why MEcon, why Saitama, why economics/management after software, why this topic এবং post-degree goal—এই পাঁচটি answer evidenceসহ rehearse করুন।
- Low/average grades থাকলে excuse না দিয়ে context, later improvement, relevant project/work এবং current readiness দেখান।

Funding ও 24-month budget বাস্তবভাবে plan করুন
MEcon fully funded নয়। Tuition-only support, general waiver, JASSO এবং private awards আলাদা schemes; একটির eligibility অন্যটির award নিশ্চিত করে না।
- Current announced October 2027 planning baseline লিখুন: admission ¥282,000 + annual tuition ¥642,960 × 2 = ¥1,567,920 base academic cost; future fee change ও other charges-এর buffer রাখুন।
- Program estimate প্রায় ¥140,000/month ধরে 24-month living reference প্রায় ¥3,360,000; নিজের rent, commuting, insurance, food ও emergency cost দিয়ে Japan-resident budget replace করুন।
- 2026 Economics Society Scholarship up to 2 students-এর দুই বছরের tuition cover করত, continued excellent academic performance সাপেক্ষে। 2027 guide-এ continuation এবং selection terms recheck করুন।
